A New Stage for Global Cybersecurity Dialogue: GCF Heads to Singapore

15 July 2025

From the Middle East to Asia, Expanding the Frontiers of Digital Cooperation

The Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF), a flagship platform led by Saudi Arabia’s National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), is set to host its first-ever international forum in Singapore this October. This marks a significant milestone as GCF expands its global outreach beyond the Kingdom, positioning itself as a conduit for strategic dialogue and cross-regional cyber cooperation.

The one-day, invitation-only event will be held at a five-star venue in Singapore and will bring together leading stakeholders in cybersecurity policy, technology, investment, and governance. Structured around closed-door presentations and networking sessions, the forum aims not only to share Saudi Arabia’s cybersecurity vision but also to foster new partnerships across the Asian digital ecosystem.

Expanding the Vision of 2030 Through Cyber Strategy

Since its launch in 2020 in Riyadh, GCF has grown into the largest cybersecurity forum in the Middle East, convening thousands of global leaders annually. With an agenda spanning digital sovereignty, critical infrastructure protection, public-private cooperation, and cyber ethics, GCF has positioned itself as a policy-centric platform that transcends conventional tech expos.

The upcoming Singapore edition signifies a strategic expansion of this vision—embracing Asia’s growing role in shaping global cyber norms and governance. By engaging regional stakeholders, GCF is laying the groundwork for a more balanced and inclusive global cybersecurity dialogue.

Designing Connections: W Korea

The creative and operational direction of the Singapore forum is being led by W Korea, whose approach places human connection at the center of spatial design. Rather than treating the event as a traditional technical conference, W Korea is curating an environment where conversations, relationships, and cross-cultural interactions can emerge organically.

From traffic flow and visual cues to environmental styling, every element is being designed to facilitate connection—not just content delivery. The objective is to move beyond one-way communication and create a forum that feels immersive, relational, and experience-driven.

Having successfully produced the New Murabba Seoul Forum—where it bridged Middle Eastern vision with Korean aesthetics—W Korea now brings the same cultural fluency and creative execution to GCF, crafting a setting where cybersecurity diplomacy becomes tangible and human-centered.

Singapore as a Crossroads of Culture and Strategy

Singapore’s unique position as a geopolitical and digital bridge between the Middle East and Southeast Asia makes it an ideal host city for GCF’s first global expansion. With its vibrant mix of industries, nationalities, and digital infrastructure, Singapore has long been a hub for cyber diplomacy and multilateral tech cooperation.

The forum is expected to spotlight Saudi Arabia’s cybersecurity strategy, explore opportunities for Asian collaboration, and deepen engagement with global technology firms and institutions.

A Signal for New Global Partnerships

Sources close to the organizers confirm that GCF is exploring additional international editions in the coming years, signaling a broader ambition to become a global movement—not just a Riyadh-based event. The Singapore forum will serve as a testbed for this evolving strategy, helping to shape a new template for international cybersecurity engagement.

In parallel, the forum will build momentum ahead of the main GCF Annual Meeting in Riyadh, scheduled for early October 2025, creating space for preliminary dialogue, soft diplomacy, and strategic matchmaking.

In an era where cyber threats transcend borders, GCF’s expansion into Singapore marks a pivotal step toward shared digital responsibility and trust. It is not just a forum—it is the beginning of a new chapter in how regions collaborate, how policies connect, and how cybersecurity is reimagined across cultures.

All eyes will be on Singapore this October, as a new kind of conversation begins.
